Classical Education...

“Because the classical educator believes in a real world that gives up ordered knowledge of itself, he teaches the student how to get that knowledge. The seven liberal arts were quite deliberately developed for precisely that reason. Believing that we can know truth, and believing that truth sets us free, classical educators spent thousands of years refining the tools of truth-seeking that were used from the beginning of time, but were first codified by Aristotle."

DIY Videos to Making Masks

Mask Making Videos

Watch the SEW and NO-SEW Youtube Tutorials below to choose the best mask for your family and abilities.

There are varying levels of time and skill needed when creating a face-covering depending on the mask style you choose.  Ultimately, no matter what, WEAR A MASK!  Just wear something to keep the air-born droplets transferring the virus from person-to-person OUT OF YOUR NOSE AND THROAT.

When this all started and the news reported that only medical professionals needed a mask, I knew right then to go and purchase insertable filters for cotton masks. I knew that I could make fabric masks, but I wanted that little bit of extra protection with a 5-layered carbon filter to put inside my fabric mask.
Note: to find insertable filters on Amazon, simply search for

But...keep in mind that most people do not have filter inserts.  While a filtered mask is best, ANY face covering is necessary.  All of us should be wearing masks, especially since we do not know if we are carriers of the virus or not.  WEARING A MASK IS NECESSARY PROTECTION WHEN OUTSIDE YOUR HOME. Therefore, please choose a mask style to get started with, and as you have more time, make more for yourself.  You will want to throw your mask into the washer as soon as you re-enter the home, and so numerous styles and designs will help you stay safe and ready to go the next time you walk out your front door.  Keep safe!
